| 1. Overall, this is a good and well located hotel. I say this despite initial hiccups : we were first allocated a twin bedroom rather than double as requested and then relocated to a better room directly beside a lift-well (which we decided we could live with for 3 nights.) The location off Orchard and the general ambience is excellent & the service friendly. The Heat nightclub was first class for relaxing as were the classy Filipino singers & band. |

| 2. Hotel was very pleasant. Rooms were comfortable beds larger than the usual twin shares and very comfy. Huge fluffy towels, and excellent bathrooms, tons of hot water & showers suitable for arthritic older people. Food service was excellent buffets are very varied offering several cuisines all done very well. Breakfast was also excellent. Also helpful with ancillary services, their Spa partners were excellent for massage and a facial. |

| 3. This is the first time we have stayed in this end of Orchard Road and we found that it was in an excellent position and close to the shopping areas and the MRT is less than 2 minutes walk from the front door. What was impressive about the HOtle was that although we arrived in Singapore at 5.30 am there was a room ready. The HOtle is very good value for money. Breakfast is included and a complimentary mini bar with beer soft drinks and mineral water is replenished each day. There is a pool and also a small gym. The staff at the front desk were very helpful in giving advice about where to go. The housekeeping staff member who looked after our room finished early so we could come back for a rest after heavy retail therapy sessions. We would strongly consider coming to stay at the Royal Plaza on Scotts again on our next visit. |
